We figured it out, glory to God!! Thank you to a good friend back in St. Louis who helped out with this. You are the best, Brendan! We will be posting Sunday morning's message on the home page of our site. You can click the "play" button on our home page and listen to last Sunday's message "Howbeit." This is a great tool to be able to reach out to others when a truth is preached that can help them...send 'em to our site! Also, this gives each of us an opportunity to listen again to help retain the truth we have heard!

In the coming weeks, it is our goal to have a sermon archive page...a place to listen to sermons preached in the past from the pulpit of Victory Baptist Church.

We were blessed with beautiful fall weather this past Sunday morning, but even more than that, we are thankful for the Holy Spirit's presence in our services. There were adult visitors in the morning service, and 9 young people downstairs! This keeps the ladies busy, no doubt, and we are excited about the growth in this area...they are the future of VBC! Three people accepted Christ as Saviour last week, and one of them made a profession of faith Sunday morning...let's keep up the great work and continue to grow the Lord's way...one soul at a time!

There have been extensive changes to our church website and many more to come! By the end of today, we will most likely pass last month's number of people who have visited our site! There have been people from hundreds of miles away telling us that they have viewed the site and are "keeping track" of VBC's progress.

We are hoping soon to be posting audio from our services here...our goal is for people to be able to hear messages that are preached from the pulpit as a way to help them make their decision to visit us in person. This site is the "first impression" of our church for many in our area.

 Our Fall Conference is now over, but was it ever special??!! It closed out Tuesday night with a tremedous message from Dr. Watts about "leaving the corners" and "leaving handfuls of purpose." Then Dr. Gray closed out the conference with a message on "LET"S GO SOUL-WARNING!" He preached right up to the  10 o'clock hour, and it was an amazing truth from the Word of God! We praise the Lord for His presence in our meetings this year and look forward to making a difference in Macomb!

 It was great to see the house of the Lord full! Nearly 80 folks attended tonight and the altars were filled yet again. Dr. Watts and Dr. Gray did a great job, and the spirit of the service was outstanding! We had a fly that kept bothering Dr. Gray until he killed it, only to have another one give him fits! One of the highlights of the evening was the special music by Mike Henson...see you tomorrow night!

 

What a start to our 2nd annual fall conference! The messages were Spirit-filled, the altars were full, several visitors in both the morning and the evening service, and we enjoyed the fellowship of God's people. This is just the beginning...you don't want to miss the next two nights, beginning at 7pm. Dr. Gray and Dr. Watts will be preaching...be prepared Spiritually before you hit the front door!
