The Autumn season has brought us blessings here at Victory Baptist Church. We are excited about the recent marriage of Mark and Alyssa, the addition of Chester and Jessica, and the baptism of 10 folks since the Spring.
We are also looking forward to having NEW carpet installed in the coming weeks. More than $3,000 has been given by the good people of Victory Baptist Church toward this endeavor.
We are thrilled to report that we witnessed 4 dear people follow the Lord in believer's baptism this past Sunday! We are also very excited to officially welcome two more onto our membership rolls! The people who were baptized ranged in age from 7 to 80!! There are a few pictures below!
We recently had a date night for the couples in our church. We went putt putt golfing, played at the driving range and batting cages, and topped it off with Mickey D's.
If you are looking for a contemporary church with a pastor who looks like he just left a pool party, you won't find it here! We are an independent Baptist Church with a pastor who teaches and preaches the Word of God to us each and every week! Today was no exception; Pastor Eddy proclaimed the Word of God in the morning and afternoon services, and we were blessed.
If you are SERIOUS about trying to serve the Lord, come out and join us!
We were excited to have Brother Bowen in our services this past Sunday. It was a blessing to hear his testimony, and we will see if the Lord will allow us to support his work in Southeast Asia. We had a dinner between the morning and afternoon service.
Most importantly, one soul accepted Christ as Saviour in the services. There are a few pictures below:

Is this my best side?
Chester Ruff preached for us in our afternoon service this past Sunday. He and Jessica are dating, and we are looking forward to having them here as they train to pastor.
Our Children's Church is a branch of our Faith n' Family Ministry. We were blessed to have 18 children this past Sunday! Mark and Alyssa are doing a fantastic job. Several of the children have accepted Christ as their personal Saviour this year, four of them have been baptized, and nearly all of them attend every single Sunday.
This Saturday, May 12th, we will be having Men's Breakfast at the church at 9am. We will be eating biscuits and gravy and Pastor will be our speaker this month!
Our Spring Program and Spring Revival have come and gone. The Lord gave us a wonderful eight weeks of blessings! We don't have the final results in, but we know that at least 15 people bowed their head and accepted Christ as Saviour and 6 followed the Lord in baptism.
Our Spring Revival was tremendous with MOST of our church folks attending every single night of our week of meetings with Brother Miller. Many folks have mentioned how blessed and refreshed they were during the meetings.
While we are very thankful for God's blessings, we are now looking for even more as we turn the corner toward the summer months.
The month of May will feature new Sunday School lessons on the subject: "Jesus, The Great I Am."
During the month of May, we will also be having Home on the Rock Seminars on the 3rd and the 17th at 6:30pm.
On May 12, the ladies will be going to the Ladies Spring Tea in Canton, IL, and the men will be having a Men's Breakfast!
Also, on May 27th, the Faith n' Family Ministry will be having a "Picnic after the Preaching" time of food and fellowship!
If you are searching for a church that is moving forward and also trying to hold true to the Bible, come on out on Sunday and visit us! If you are a first-time family, you will receive a new Bible and a gift certificate for a family meal at the Italian Express of Macomb!
